Owners request a stay in the client portal, and the facility approves it before it is confirmed. Instant self-serve booking is on the roadmap. The daily board covers check-ins, feed sheets, medication sign-off, playgroups, report cards and the roster. Pro Groom sits on the same calendar. Card invoices go to the business through Stripe. New Zealand bank transfers can be matched in Xero. There is no per-booking fee. A 14-day trial does not need a card.

DatCog is for one facility. Owners request a stay and staff approve it. Gingr and Kennel Booker are ahead on unattended 24/7 self-serve booking. Xero support is New Zealand bank-transfer matching, not a full ledger sync. Pet Manager has a fuller Xero sync. Stripe is for card invoices and deposits, paid out to the kennel. There is no public API, no SMS, no electronic signature, no barcode scanning and no generative AI in the product.
