Does DatCog include feed sheets?+
Yes. The Feed Sheet tab opens the Feed Schedule view with kitchen stats, Our/Own food filters, med columns, print and fullscreen. Staff complete the same sheet from the Staff Portal Feed tab with AM/PM med sign-off.
Is there a roster builder?+
Yes. Staffing → Roster lets you build schedules with drag-and-drop shifts, templates, conflict detection, Export CSV/PDF and Email Roster to staff with a branded PDF attached.
Can I send branded invoices by email?+
Yes. From any booking you can Email invoice or Download PDF, branded with your business name and logo. Clients can also View invoice and Print from the Client Portal. Payment instructions and bank details come from your Business → Payments settings.
What email system does DatCog use?+
DatCog platform email uses Resend. Clients see your business as the sender; replies go to your office email. You can send booking confirmations, reminders, invoice emails, payslips and roster emails. Custom SMTP is also supported.
How is DatCog different from generic kennel software?+
DatCog is animal-first: Feed Schedule, Play View with relationship tracking, medication sign-off, and a full Staffing suite (roster, timesheets, payroll, MYOB export) are built in. Not bolted on.
Can staff use DatCog on their phones?+
Yes. The Staff Portal is mobile-first with Clock in/out, Feed, Play, Grooms, Team chat and Install app (PWA). Pro groomers get a dedicated Grooms tab.
Do pet owners get their own portal?+
Yes. The Pet owner portal includes Request a stay, Stays & billing, View invoice, pet care editing, messenger and care updates. You can share a branded /join/[kennel] registration link.
Do you migrate our existing data?+
Yes. Annual plans include free guided migration from spreadsheets or other systems.
Where do I log in?+
Managers, staff and pet owners use go.datcog.app/login and choose Manager, Staff or Pet owner.

How does DatCog keep our kennel data secure?+
Your kennel's data is kept separate from other facilities, encrypted when stored and protected when sent online. Staff and pet owners need a login to access it, and each role only sees what they need. Read more on our Security page.
